Yes. A 2008 law gives businesses the right to choose where they buy their power, and the government recently opened it up to mid-sized businesses too. That's exactly why more companies can switch today than ever before.
Yes, and we want you to know up front. One bill covers the wires that deliver the power; the other covers the power itself. We check both for you every month and send you one simple savings summary. Added together, they always cost less than your old single bill — that's the whole point.
No. The power still runs through the same wires from the same company. They still handle delivery and fix any outages — that doesn't change. The only thing that changes is who you buy the power from, which is what gets you the lower price.
Yes — you'll need a new meter that tracks your usage in more detail. Your current electricity company installs it; we arrange the timing. It usually takes 4–12 weeks, and we'll spell out any cost in your written proposal before you commit.
Realistically 3 to 9 months from first contact to going live. The meter upgrade is the slowest piece. We'll give you a written timeline before you sign anything — and you'll know within the first thirty minutes of the discovery call whether your business is a good fit.
Your power doesn't stop. The government has a built-in backup: if your provider ever stops delivering, another one automatically takes over your supply with no gap. Your business keeps running, and we help you move to a new provider when you're ready. You're never left stranded.
Yes. You're allowed to switch back with proper notice. In practice almost no one does once they see the savings — but the door stays open.
